Singer, writer and actress, Congo born, South African raised Céline Tshika re enters the music world with a brand new single ‘Fancy Love’. This single follows her previous hit single Dare You To Move’ which was playlisted on numerous stations in South Africa, including Good Hope FM.

This Pop song ‘Fancy Love’ is about stripping away appearances in a relationship and celebrating the true essence of a romantic connection. It was written by Céline and produced by Howard Edward at Cosher Recording Studios in Cape Town.

The music video tells the story that she had in mind while writing the song: that of two people who attempt traditional forms of romance, who then realise that what they have is genuine and doesn’t need to be ‘dressed up’ to be something real. 

The video was written by Céline and freelance filmmaker David Ritchie, who produced, directed and edited the video. It was a successful passion project made by independent filmmaking graduates and students from UCT.

Celine´ began releasing singles in 2016 during her final year of Engineering at UCT. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to study Acting for Film. During her time in LA, she collaborated with Polish producer Mario S on singles ‘Stronger’ and ’22 Days.’

She is now entering the acting and music industry in Cape Town, South Africa.
