Kwaito artist Victor Kwanda Chiliza, popularly known as DJ Dunge, grew up in KZN and has been an avid Kwaito fan since the young age of ten. DJ Dunge started singing, rapping to his peers and family when he grew up in Makhutha township and was heavily inspired by Mandoza. Kwaito has always been his main inspiration and he continues to fly the flag high for one of South Africa’s most loved music genres.

Honing his skills by performing at weddings and funerals in his hometown gave him the inspiration and courage to fulfill his dreams and release his music. The first single release from DJ Dunge is the catchy UMHLUKUMEZI featuring Nkosi Yoxolo.

Umhlukumezi will be released on all music platforms on 29 May 2021.
