MISS-RAND-DOLLAZ is on the money with hot new House single SENZA KANJE

Dumisile Shangase, known professionally as Miss Rand-Dollaz, and one-half of the rap group WE /R\ TCHOM, is a South African, American-based House & Rap artist. Born and raised in Durban, Kwazulu-natal’s Kwamashu township, she moved to America at the age of 22. While always a lover of music, being an artist is the last thing that was ever on her mind. She says “I began taking music seriously between 2019 and 2021. During Covid I had more free time to be in the studio and experiment with my sound. I knew I wanted to do two genres of music (House & Rap), but I wasn’t quite sure how to bring it all together.” So, in April of 2021 she released a rap single “Like This” and an Amapiano inspired track “Bayede” which she only promoted to close friends and family to see their reactions. “I was so nervous, but the responses were far from what I expected.” Over the next year she kept writing and recording new songs with the intention of making her music public the following year.

In Feb of 2022, she would drop Senza Kanje and 4 other music videos (2 House and 2 Rap) that garnered her over 100,000K total views on her social platforms and new Instagram followers as far east as Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia, as far west as Ghana and Cameroon, and as far South as Botswana, Zambia and South Africa. Following this success, she had the pleasure of performing at Maryland’s (USA) South African Freedom Day Picnic After party, alongside South African DJ’s and artists such as TDKMacassette. Currently, she’s in the studio working on two new eps which will be released simultaneously in July of 2022 under her new imprint, 51 Star Records.
