South African singer-songwriter The Bird ( Bianca Le Roux) returns with her new single “It’s Just Begun,” a heartfelt and uplifting track born in Zimbabwe and shaped by the belief that some of life’s most unexpected chapters can become its most meaningful.

Written in Zimbabwe in March 2026, “It’s Just Begun” emerged during a period of reflection, change and renewed perspective. Away from the familiar, The Bird found herself looking at the experiences that shape us the love, pain, mistakes, joy and unexpected turns  and the possibility that what feels like an ending may actually be the beginning of something entirely new.

Written by Bianca Le Roux and produced by Olly Vans, the 2:40-minute single continues The Bird’s deeply personal style of songwriting, where lived experience becomes music and vulnerability is met with hope.

At its heart, “It’s Just Begun” is about allowing yourself to move forward without denying where you have been. It is a reminder that our past becomes part of us, but it does not have to determine what comes next.
